The King #10 Enemy To The Republic: Barack Obama

Why is Barack Obama # 10 rather than number 1? He could be number one. All of the top 10 are directly related to the Tyranny we are experiencing and Obama is the fulcrum of all of them. I waited to put him in as # 10 as we have 9 enemies that enable him. Any one of the nine could play a serious role in neutralizing his impact, if they only would. I don't believe I or anyone can change Obama, but the others we might change. I hope we do.

Your attitude is relevant.

Sorry Mr. Thomas if this bothers you, but I've given a few days of thought to our interaction, and am convinced you are a serious problem to our Freedoms. That makes you an enemy of the Republic. They scary thing, is that there are tens of millions of you out there. Individually, you are just one person, collectively you are powerful. Perhaps a power to tyranny.

Jason: it is relevant. It's a matter of is he committing tyranny a step at a time. It is relevant and your sidestepping the issue contributes. I do not know what drives your attitude: a love for the benefits you are deriving, a fixation on Obama, a desire to be tolerant, what? Little by little, executive order by executive order, illegal act by illegal act our Constitution is being destroyed.

 

And your response to my inquiry, is that it is irrelevant. Way to skirt the issue as a true person in denial. An enemy to the Republic.

Let Me Tell You About David And The Dark Side

This has been David's home for the last 25years. I have known David since he was 15 years old. I had a lot of interaction with David. One was to council him about a girl he was possessive over.

David is in Prison for attempted murder. His sentence would have been lighter under certain circumstances.

David's girl friend broke up with him and that didn't set well with him. She had a new boy friend. David planned on paper a detailed plan to kill her. At night when she was at home with a boy friend, David had snuck into her closet in her bedroom. The girl and her boy friend had no idea he was there. After the boy friend left David attacked her with an ice pick. He came close to killing her. He then left her home and cut his wrists, lying in a nearby field.

David attempted this with the girls two younger brothers in nearby basement bedrooms. He damaged her wrists for life, leaving her unable to play her instrument ever again.

The next morning, after being made aware of the attack, I called a friend doctor on call at the hospital. He went to her and called me back. "She may not live  Larry" the attack was brutal.

David went from a clean cut young boy with a lot of hopes and potential to this killer to be.

What happened?

David explained it when he went for sentencing, hoping the judge would understand and be benevolent. She wasn't. David's words were something like this (I was on the front row in the trial room) "Judge, I was born into a good family. They brought me up to do what was right. I just got into the wrong things; first it was the wrong types of friends, they introduced me to games that were fun and attractive - dragons and dungeons, harmless games. They got me into sex and drugs. They convinced me that my righteous parents were all wet, weird, out of touch. Little by little I was dragged into the dark side of things. I went from being the good teenager my parents tried to  help me become, eventually a good young man, into this monster."

David was sentenced to 38 years with the possibility of a very few  years off for good behavior. Washington State has minimum sentencing laws.

I visited David in the County Jail every Sunday for over a year while he was waiting trial. He was in solitary for most of the time. I noticed and mentioned to others that watching David over those weeks I saw him look less and less like a dark spirit each visit.

The influences on David were less in prison than when he was a free person.

I understand that he has been a model prisoner. That he made a commitment to do something good with his life, even if in prison for the full term. He was born and raised with a religious foundation and apparently has used that to fulfill some means of positive outcomes with the circumstances he put himself in.

I have heard a lot of talk about guns these last few days. I posted an article about lets outlaw knives. It seems to me the problem isn't that simple. David's parents tried to raise an decent boy. He took  control of his environment and in a few years became a dark and scary guy.

How can the evil I saw in David be stopped? Legislation? How?

What make David what he was, wasn't the ice pick. So what then?

Perhaps it was how cool were the dark things; the games. the dark stuff: the drugs, the sex, the violence. Perhaps we are paying the societal price for decades of removing God from the accepted political conversation, from our schools, from public places.

I heard Michael Medved quote a survey that showed Obama lost in many categories, but that the category he won, like 90 to 10%, which Medved says what was the deciding factor in the election was in the category of Non's. Like non believers. Non Jewish, non Christian, the opposite.

Are we willing to outlaw the non's? Seriously, how about embracing what our country was founded on, God and a Country founded on Man's God Given Rights. This is a country built on individual freedoms, including the right to be a non.

However, are the non's, which likely includes the providers of the "Dark Side" taking over, influencing to much, are they part of Satan's team the adversary: he the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

I am sure I am more correct on the problem than those shouting out "Gun Control".

Are You Going To Outlaw Knives Too?

I've listen to a flock of people say outlaw gums now.   Oh, really, and how about knives?

The Problem isn't the weapons, it's the degenerates that commit the acts. Maybe it has something to do with the lack of moral structure in their lives. Perhaps it's the violence they see in video games or movies. I don't know the answer - but please - outlaw knives, is that next? Will pencils be after that?

Here is the knife story.

A man stabbed two people at the Smith's Marketplace grocery store in downtown Salt Lake City before being subdued by a bystander.

The attack took place around 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the store at 455 S. 500 East.  According to a witness, it appears one man was stabbed in the side of the head and another was stabbed in the stomach.  The exact condition of the victims is unknown, but police believe the injuries are very serious and possibly critical.  Police say a bystander with a concealed carry permit witnessed the attack and stepped in to keep it from escalating.

What Are You Going To Do?

Folks, I am trying to reach 5 people, hoping they reach 5 and so on.

With 58 million people who voted against Obama and the local elections that had many conservative results, it doesn't take that much. Realistically, I won't hit that much success, but if everyone does something they feel comfortable with, we can turn this thing around in the next election.

Seeking to be pragmatic,  I accept that it won't happen that fast. But this is such an important issue, protecting our Republic from being destroyed is so worth it, decide what you can do and do it.

I will try and reach my five. Hopefully they will pass it on. It's my goal.

It's also my goal that this site have new content at least 4 days a week. You could send me such content to post and then send others here to see your opinion in print, even discuss it with you.

Brandon Scott did that for me last night, I thank him again as I did in the post. (The Ron Paul Speech). I have many other duties, and would be grateful for any help you provide.

I would like to point out that in 3 days I reached the level of hits on this blog as I have after one year of my genealogy blog: larrycragunfamily.blogspot,com and half of those Genealogy hits come from Google. I don't expect Google to help me that much on this blog as the number of websites and articles about this subject are so many.

I have done what you can do. Over the last year or so I have tweeted about politics and have picked up over 1000 followers. When I started this blog I began adding to those I follow. I have gone from 27 to over 100. Many of them follow me back. I am reaching out now to people who appear to be open minded. I have picked up some fanatic liberals, I don't expect to convert them to Constitutional Government. I will seek to have a dialogue with them and see how it goes. By the time this article goes live I may have done that once.

I also have a connection on Facebook with many friends and family. Many are liberals. I post a link to my articles in both Facebook and Twitter. That is driving most of my traffic. Perhaps even those who are connected these ways are already Conservative politically, and perhaps I can spur them to being some sort of center of influence and education in their own way.

The picture of Time Square is symbolic in a few ways. One it represents a time Kathleen and I had a great vacation/business trip. We weren't struugeling at the time. Our economy was strong and our business was doing great. Those times have passed and we are still happy, but we are concerned about our Country. It also is symbolic of a large body of people We don't need a large body of converts, we do need a large body of Patriots like you. More on that in the next paragraph. Finally to me this photo is symbolic of individuals. Look at the photo. Are any wearing a sign that says middle class? Do they have a sign that says white guy or woman? No. They are individuals. We are all individuals.

Finally, back to the Patriot issue. Be a Patriot and be it now. Study the things that we are fighting for so you can discuss them. Until then do something like giving your  prospective convert a book, such as Ameritopia. Let it do the work after you ask for a commitment for them to read it. You read it. Read the Bill of Rights. Listen to some of the people or read their works in the Honor Roll on the left of this blog.

The only thing I hope to push along is that many of you do something, and they get people to do something, so the 58 million of us that voted against this regime overwhelm an important election and through out those who are taking us down the drain, be it Republican, Democrat, Marxist, or Liberal. I say overwhelm as I am convinced some of the elections were full of fraud.

A Proper Solution To Illegals Situation

Do the politicians have the will to secure out borders? Not the Democrats, they are building a constituency.

But at what cost to our Country?

My solution, at least the foundation - instead of amnesty or any forgivness law that provides citizenship I propose that we provide some sort of right to stay without a right to vote.

Couple that with a crackdown that if they didn't register for the right to stay within a certain period of time, they lost the right permanently.

Make it so it is better to stay legally, than to have it illegal for them to vote.

Help Save Our RePublic Names The Supreme Court As An Enemy To The RePublic

Sorry to have to add The United States Supreme Court as an Enemy to the RePublic. The last bastion for the Salvation of the Constitution, the Contract that  protects our Republic, lies in these wise judges decisions.

Instead of executing on their sworn duty they have become powerful political hacks. And to think, in the next four years Barack, screw the Constitution, Obama could appoint more of them.

God save our Country. I don't know how he will do it, but please God do it.

Boehner And Cantor Were Pitiful Today

I watched Boehner and Cantor today. They were hopeless.

Why don't these guys give up and go home. It would be more effective. I mean that.

Obama has no intentions of negotiating with them. He doesn't give a rip about the #fiscalcliff. Obama is out to destroy the Republicans. These two hapless leaders are enabling him big time.

They look so weak. They are so weak.

It's sad to behold. They have no spine.

Earned Income Tax Credit, huh?

Call it what it is please.

My oh my, the words and phrases our bureaucrats and politicians come up with. If we are going to win our Country back we have to be smart, be thinkers, and be willing to learn. Just taking a little bit of time to understand, ask questions, do a Google search, or thinking can play a big role in combating the anti American agenda.

The earned income tax credit is an example. I am amazed how many people don't really know what it is. Just last week a friend asked me what it was. If you are a producer you are likely to pass over the concept as you probably pay taxes. For sure if you don't get it you are not in the 47% Romney was  caught talking about.

The devious term is actually an additional form of welfare. Know it for that. Simply put, if you don't claim enough income, you  might just qualify for a CHECK. The fact you may not have to pay an amount for taxes is irrelevant.

It has nothing to do with getting a credit for how much income you claim, it's the opposite - a check if you don't claim enough income. Supposedly it is supposed to motivate people to work. That claim is definitely mistaken.

Call it what it is, no that won't happen. The earned income tax credit is another sneaky form of welfare.

Now the biggest message here is just how simple it was to know what earned income tax credit is. With a little effort all you may be confronted with in the way of political or liberal speak and yet be able to figure out and even discuss what they are really saying.

Then reason can be a part of the dialogue. This is also a reason to listen or read those influencers I have put in the honor role. Some of them are not only educational but down right interesting and motivational.

By the way, it's a big sum: last year 44% of filers received an earned income check. Almost the 47% Romney fumbled the discussion over. 

Why Obama Knocks Out The Competition

Face the facts he just keeps on winning be it against McCain, Romney, Boehner, or McConnell. Be it on Obamacare, Judicial Appointments, avoiding tough conversations and situations, legislation, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the budget, runaway spending, entitlements, economic collapse, or executive orders.

He wins and he gets his way virtually every time.

Here is why. Barack Obama is on a  mission. The competitors are Politicians being political.

Obama's mission treats it as jungle warfare. He is out to win and will use anything and everything to win. Anything. Everything. Did you get that?

Did McCain and Romney act that way? No. Romney avoided taking Obama to the mat. He had is chance in the last debate and danced around the ring. No knockout there. No effort to mix it up. No passion to win. Now I know Romney wanted to win, he worked hard at it. But did he work like Obama works? No he did not.

Is Boehner acting more like Romney than Obama now over the #FiscalCliff battle. It is like we are witnessing another knockout by Obama.

Obama uses every trick he can come up with, every ploy he can muster. The Republicans whine, "oh he went to a stupid  toy  factory to make a point". Yes he did, and why? To WIN! Is he winning again? Yes he is. Some accuse him of cheating. Would he cheat? I think he would. Would he find a way to subvert the military vote? I think he would. Would Obama give out Obama Phones to win over votes?   Yes he would, he did that. Would Obama increase the welfare roles and make the recipients believe they go away if he loses?  Yes he would, he did that too.

Are you getting the picture here?

So now what republicans?

What do you do from being killed, not just knocked out. He's after your majority in the House you know. He's not trying to win the fiscal cliff battle. He is trying to kill your majority. He is not being a politician. He won't settle on a tax the rich battle. That's not his battle, it his skirmish. It's a piece of what he is doing.

Obama is out to change the Country. He says it. You don't listen.

He is using the fiscal cliff and adding pieces to it to beat you to a pulp; raising the debt ceiling for example. Hey now it's two fights. And three. And then four.  And then five. And in two years, it's a knockout and he is on his way to his real goal, "Changing America".

He will win unless a major change takes place, which doesn't look likely.

The change? Back to my original simile'. Obama is on a mission and the republicans are playing politics, they are politicians, and oh does that smell bad.

You see, there is a difference that is core. I served two years as a Mormon missionary. We were on a mission to spread the good word. It was a core belief we had that we were saving souls. We would knock on doors for hours being rejected. That didn't matter, we didn't get discouraged. We were just looking for those we could share our message with. A grandson spent two years doing this in Moscow, Russia. No converts, he got beat up several times. He didn't come home all beat up in his heart, he felt he was serving God, and he knew Jesus had it worse.

That's the way it is with Obama. He can be spat upon, called names, called out by Congress, disparaged on Fox News. All of that is OK, he is on a mission too.

So what again about the Republicans fighting the Obama battle? Not on a mission. No core principles at work here. Is their mission survival of the Union? Is it protection of the Constitution? Is it based on principles? Sadly, no. When Obama issues an order that is against the good of the Country do you ever hear Boehner, or another Republican Leader say "that issue is dead on arrival"? Would they mean it if they said it.  Do they fight with all their might, with everything they can muster? The answer is no and no and no.. It doesn't mean that much to them. It isn't core to them. And that is why they lose and lose and lose. They in fact punish any member of their body who gets the problem and tries to step up, speak out, and act with a core principle. In elections they fight that type of candidate. They don't want freedom fighters, they want more politicians.

Something historical and basic is on exhibit here. It is so basic. And as the republicans fail to get it they fail. It is that no matter how audacious the issue, how irrespective the import of the consequences, if you don't fight with all you have, and you are up against an opponent that fights that way, you will lose.

The Republicans are up against a control freak. He is playing to win. I learned a long time ago how to illustrate the inner soul of a control freak. Picture a man in a small deep pool with another man standing on the man in the pools head. He's holding him under water with his foot. The man in the water is running out of air. Picture how hard the man under water would be seeking air. How hard would he fight to get air? How hard would you fight?

Republicans, your head is under water. It's been there for years. Do you even know it or have you drowned already?

RePublic Enemy # 6 The 47%

OK now don't get your shorts all up in the air. I use the 47% term because it's somewhat of an Icon now.  Romney muffed the conversation big time on this topic.

And I've heard all the rebuttals on the poor people on social security as not deserving scorn, and they are part of the  47% who don't pay taxes.

I get that. I'm one of the social security types. As I told a tweeter yesterday who thought I must be really rich -  I was rich once, and lost my fortune starting and committing to a dotcom. But I'm fine. I have a great wife and family and am blessed in my life. I'm serving others full time and have discovered I have all that I need. We would however, be in real bad shape were it not for our social security. So don't discount my message with a song and a dance about disparaging the poor people that don't pay taxes.

So on with it without pandering, OK. For this conversation, and what should have been the conversation during the campaign are those who are the enemies of our Republic. You are out there. Obama appealed to the worst in you and it gave him victory. You are real and you are deserving to be on the enemies of the Republic list. For America's sake you need to either change your heart or we need to overwhelm you with Patriots, or the Country is doomed. No joke and no exaggeration here.

You the 47% ers I am identifying are those who spit on John F Kennedy's grave as he dad declared "Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You, Ask What You Can Do For Your Country." Where are you, those who believe in this. You are certainly not in the Democrat Party, you certainly aren't those who voted for Obama. His appeals were to those of you who try and Ask What The Country Can Do For You. What a shame.

You are the Obamaphoners. You are those who are shamefully taking; exaggerating disability to get a lifetime handout, expecting the Country to forgive your student loans, thinking it's a right to receive free condoms and birth control. I need not say more, you know who you are, you Truly Are My Enemy. I'm not trying to persuade you -  you are too lost - I leave it up to you to develop a conscience.

But may I persuade you do gooders who helped the 47% become the majority. Get a grip please.  Open your eyes to a future and what it will be for your children and grandchildren. Look beyond your immediate urges, we have a President and Democratic Senate, aided by many Republicans who are poking holes in the fabric of our Constitution.

"Oh, we can let this one go you say"- it's for a noble purpose. Bah Humbug. It's Tyranny. Look it in the eye, are you contributing to that? Then stop.

Leading The Charge For Fairness

I am continuing this for a while. I need to have time to give thoughtful response to Marks comment and would love to have others input.

I heard someone say yesterday that the rich should pay a 75% tax rate. OK I am asking Twitter folks, for what good purpose.

After a couple of hours, a couple of tweets, and a few direct messages I have no responses. So here are a couple of hints. (then I will  push this post to Twitter).

Should I pay for your college education? You know - forgive your student loan.
Should I pay for your medicine deductible? Even those whose is only $1.00?
Should I pay for your food? Even if you have money to pay for cable and sports events?

Does this get you going? If I'm Rich what should you tax me for, in being fair?

Gotta go do some errands now: Still trying to get a handle on what all I should pay for.

Sorry Reince, But I will donate directly to those who stand up for our Constitution.

I've lost  faith in the Republican Elite that treat our bold conservative representatives like they were the enemy. 

You might take a look at the blog I have started. http://helpsaveourrepublic.blogspot.com/ It will be vigorously promoting the ouster of the old guard and replacing them with young guns with principles. Note who is on the Republic enemies list.

Added to the enemies list will be everyone that votes to raise taxes.

You guys are screwing up big time. You are outclassed when it comes to negotiations. Probably because you believe more like the democrats than you do your conservative citizens.

The Parable Of Fairness; Thats The Point Isn't It?

Why Is It Fair That His Family Has This?

A man of Noble Talents went to a distant college to build himself a future.

He spent years and long hours of study. Not one of his fellow students had his commitment or devotion to their studies.

He would use these years to achieve the goal of being at the top of his class.

It would all be worth it to accomplish his dreams of being a Doctor, serving in the highest of fields.

The Sacrifice, the long nights of study, the events he missed; they would all be worth it.

He was up against serious competition for the next step up; but he was up to it all. He would pay the price to be measured against others, our Doctor to be had no qualms at all. He would do it. Honors were to be his, he was the brightest and the best.

Then one day on the path to success his advisors and teachers had a fairness concept to introduce, The Fairness Doctrine. They decided "Fairness was a Right", even for college students.

They asked, how is it fair that one man be ruled better, graded higher? Didn't all show up these difficult years? How is it fair to choose one for greater success when all showed up. They concluded that sadly, some are more gifted, and had more time to dedicate. Some were stressed and needed extra time to unwind and to play. Some less blessed, yet they deserved to be winners too. 

"We've decide not the others efforts to forsake"? "We call it the students Fairness Doctrine". One of the now many "Student Rights"

We have only so many points to give So in fairness here's what we'll do. Take the scores from all and divide them equally amongst each student who showed up. Some of your big scores go smaller and some small scores grow bigger. So the few with 4.0 and the many 2.5 get an average grade of 3.15. It's all fair you know, and that's what we need to strive for, fairness that is the goal.

For those on the top, with goals lofty and fine, just know their are many other ways you can help mankind. You the student that sought to be a Doctor, it's Ok, screw you dreams and efforts, go be an accountant.

FYI, I didn't vote for Ron Paul, I was most interested in voting Obama out. Some of you may have been that way, or the opposite - anxious to vote him back in.

Whatever your political bent is, I ask you to watch this video. It's what I believe we are fighting for. Or why and what we are fighting against you so fervently for if you are a so called  progressive, or liberal.

Perhaps you should watch it to just educate yourself on how conservatives or strict conservatives see things.

Harry Reid # 2 RePublic Enemy

I truly wish that I could be proud of Harry Reid but that is impossible.

I often wonder, what makes Harry tick? Why can he be counted on to destroy the foundation of this country?. Why doesn't he just once do something for the sake of the Country rather than a liberal political agenda?

The questions are too many. The answers few. The reasons he is my Republic enemy #2 is for the constant and consistent role he plays in support of debasing all that this Country was founded on. Frankly, I am ashamed of him.

He will lie, he will manipulate, he will deceive, and he will destroy.

Losing Money Need Not Bankrupt You - For A While

Millions To Trillions To What?

In one of my first business ventures I learned the hard way that you could be losing money and not go bankrupt. How is that? By increasing sales enough to cover the expenses. We did that for almost 3 years, struggled but stayed alive by increased sales.

It had to come to an end wouldn't you suppose? In our case the answer was yes. We took a small soil packaging company, added other products we could sell to our retail stores customers and started to grow. It always felt tight, but we kept on keeping on. But the solemn day of reckoning arrived, we couldn't pay both our bills and our payroll. The bills started to be delinquent.

We got lucky. We produced a great product with great packaging. The consumers loved it, the retailers kept reordering it. We started to eat into the market share of our competition. One day the market leader approached us and we ended up merging with them.

This was a good thing. What they had to offer was management experience and good business sense. We were forced to make a lot of changes as we gave operational controls over to our new partner. I stayed in sales, my father over production. What we discovered was the beauty of making a profit. Our combined volume and combined equipment made us not only more efficient but moved both companies into a sweet profit level. All of us prospered.

Now compare this to a government. They don't have to worry about making a profit.  Heck, they have proven that they don't even have to have a budget. Similar to my first business which kept paying bills by increased sales and cash flow, albeit we were actually losing money, all the government has to do is find a similar solution. That solution is increased revenue, not by producing anything or selling a product, but by increasing the tax revenue they capture or by printing money.

Does this really make sense? It wouldn't work in business and it only works in government temporarily. Like our little company we reached a point where we had to sell or stop or merge. We were lucky with a good merger. But what about the USA? We the people are in debt head over heals. The solution: our leaders are zooming towards tax increases. They want to pick our pockets. Also, their solution is to borrow more, trillions more, and to increase their credit card line that we are obligated to pay. We are the people that must pay the debt.

Don't kid yourselves, it isn't really going to take tax increases on the rich to solve our problems. . Rich only will pay a couple of weeks worth of expenses. What about the other trillions? Ask Greece about that? Ask those who rioted in the Streets, rebelling against the reforms. That is what is headed for us, just like a business going bankrupt because it was losing money. We must press our leaders to stop the infernal spending. We must as a people stop asking for things from our government that is not necessary. We must as a people stop being takers. What we need is leadership that will do the expenses reductions. We need a citizenry that will demand that of our leaders.

Isn't this the type of common sense I should have had in my first business? We were lucky. Will our Country be lucky too? I am not so sure of that being the end result.

My wife, Kathleen, and I are among about 500 serving full time missions supporting the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Family History/Genealogy staff. It's an amazing commitment the Church has made to support people who are interested in researching their ancestors. I train new missionaries on how to do genealogy research and how to use the research tools the church provides for free. Kathleen trains local Family History center directors. Their are about 4000 English  Speaking centers (now called FamilySearch Centers.

To help save the economy, the Government will make an announcement next month that the Immigration Department will start deporting seniors (instead of illegal's) in order to lower Social Security and Medicare costs.

Older people are easier to catch and will not remember how to get back home.

I started to cry when I thought of you guys.

Reaching Out To The Other Guys Step 1

Twitter is an interesting universe. I have played in it for quite a while. I have Tweeted an amazing to me 17,587 times. I announced last night I was changing my approach.

What I have done is followed a limited (until now) 27 people as an average. They all believe as I do, politically. A few times I searched into a group that were pro Obama and picked a fight.

Currently I have 1153 followers. Probably again mostly staunch Republicans.

More conversations have been mostly hype, like they say standing around a water cooler and chattering.

I've learned a lot from Twitter, not provided much.

Here is the new approach. I'm going to get a couple more posts up, add a few more features then start friending people I would like to persuade. I hope I communicate more value to those that follow me, even influence them to do more.

We have an election in two years. How sweet it would be to do better than 2010. Dreaming? Perhaps. But that won't stop me from trying. How about you.

Wow, I just added about 40 to follow. Some are hard core Liberals.

Dependency and Freedom

I plan on posting on this topic more than a few times.

I think there are many reasons people are being sucked into the "Great Society" as LBJ put it.

There are the Obama Phone People.

There are the truly in deserve of help.

There are the blood suckers, doing anything to get someone else to pay their bills.

There are the reckless that make me hate to go to WalMart. I see them every time I  go there. Their carts filled with junk in one cart and the other with food for the Food stamps register.

I am not addressing them, at least not now. I am interested in the group that want to be independent but are afraid, or are just hesitant to step out and demand more of themselves.

You know who you are. You have pent up desire in your heart, you just aren't executing. To you I say dependency is a form of slavery. It's especially that when you let the Government rescue you.

We used to own one of the largest mortgage companies in the State of Washington. We employed over 100 people. I ran into one of our top 5 producers a couple of years after we shut the business down. He had all kinds of talent. He had a great personality. He worked hard and was dependable. He was so good I often thought of making some sort of partnership with him.

He was a six figure earner. He was honest, thorough, and cared about people.

But two years plus had changed him. His wife worked. He made the conscious decision to live off of unemployment and be a stay at home dad. He was working the system. How do I know he was working the system? I know because he got a job two weeks before his unemployment was to expire.

If that is you or your mentality I offer this. The man I employed was free and happy. He was active in planning meetings. He had ambition. He gave that away for dependency. He wasn't free any more. His demeanor had changed. He wasn't really happy to see me. He knew that I knew that he had sold out. He knew he was kidding himself as he told me his story.

The good news is that he got a job. He isn't making half of what he used to make. But he is free from the bondage of the system. He gets up like he used to get up, ready to go be somebody. I bet his employer loves him as much as I loved having him. I bet he has that spark.

I interject here that I was a Mormon Bishop for five years.  That experience is a big part of my perspective. We have a welfare system unlike the Government. You don't just sign up for it. And my is it effective. The Bishops serve their congregation in need with the understanding that done properly, welfare can bless both the giver and the receiver. There are expectations placed on a Bishop that go hand in hand with the giving. The Bishops goal is a temporary relief coupled with bringing in the resources needed to help relieve the need for help. It isn't a right, it isn't permanent. The Bishop is to care about the need but also care about the spiritual and mental well being of the recipient. It's an amazing concept that is in action all around the world.

So what's the point of this?

If not obvious let me summarize it by saying Dependency is not freedom. The more we ask of our Government (which is really our tax paying citizens) the more we give up. The more rights the people demand from the producers the more freedom they give up.

Lets be a free people. Lets not seek to be dependent on anybody if at all possible, especially the Welfare System.

Sorry John, You Need To Be Gone

Retired is the preferable way for you to be gone. Pelosi-ized is the next best way. Actually Pelosi lost her speaker position as she lost her majority in the house. I call her being ousted Pelosi-ized.

I don't want the Republicans to lose the House, Goodness Obama would really be a King, with no effective opposition. Can you say Obamacare?

But second best would be a conservative sweep of the old guard. You know, take out the old guard, bring in the new.

I have heard it said Boehner has his Ohio District so locked up he will never be defeated.

John, you need to be gone not only because you are not one of us, your behavior shows you despise Conservatives. You are more like the Liberals than you are the conservatives. It's true you know.

Should The Tea Party Be On The Honor Roll?

I do want to say that it is my opinion they are not the only influence that is important. You as an individual can play a significant role. Be it Tea Party or Persuade your friends and neighbors mode, to quote Art Williams, "Just Do It".

The Tea Party has more success than blunders. I love and appreciate the good they have done/are doing. I want them to do more. However, some of their blunders have been serious. They have seen to it that some pretty poor nominees take place. They need to fix that.

An example is that I think they are the reason that we have Harry Reid again. Three days before the 2010 election Sharon Angle was ahead in the polls. She then opened mouth and put in foot by claiming his religion was a cult. Nevada  has a sizable Mormon population. I watched a live newscast as she said this and told my wife she just lost every Mormon vote and the election. Speaking of Mormons, wasn't the Primary beating that Romney took in the name of anyone but Romney mostly an Evangelical Christian Mormon issue? I think an honest assessment would say yes. The Tea Party's greatest influence would be if the Nation saw it less as an Evangelical controlled organization than it seems to be.

Their open mouth put in foot problem is usually a religion oriented issue with the Tea Party blunders. We had two Senate races we lost this year where religious dogma interfered with and cost the Republicans the election.

I don't care if you are an Evangelist, A Catholic, or whatever; the cause of Freedom from the Tyranny that is going on needs a big tent, where we pick the best candidates possible to run. We need to defeat Boehner and the Old Stale Republican Guard, with the Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Tim Huelskamp of Kansas Justin Amash of Michigan, Reps.Walter Jones of North Carolina and David Schweikert of Arizona rather than the Washington Establishment types. The last four listed are my current favorites. They are being punished by Boehner and company for speaking out for what their constituents sent them to Congress for.

In summary, Go Tea Party, make a big wave.

Why Is John Boehner # 1 On My RePublic Enemies List?

So why is Boehner #1?

Because he is the House Leader and he is failing the Country.

John Boehner seems to me to be a nice guy. Being an emotional guy myself, I felt a lot like he did when he became Speaker of The House. I was happy for his accomplishment.

So why get rid of him? I list a few good reasons and welcome your additions or constructive comments.

1- He is outclassed as a negotiator.

2- The fiscal cliff deal we are faced with was his deal. He buckled when it was struck and he is weak when we need strong.

3- He is part of the DC establishment. He is part of the problem.

4- He is punishing the conservatives that speak out for limited government.

5- He is failing us.

A Successful Concept: Get 5 That Get 5

Be A Tiger, Even Small Ones Have A Bite

This is Almos at 16 weeks old. He lives in the zoo at Issaquah, Washington. He became my buddy, but it was most certainly a fact, little Tigers have big bites. At this age the public could pay to have an experience with he and Taj, who came to the zoo with him, but they had to respect his potential bite. It wasn't long before even the keeper had to keep her distance and nurture him from outside his habitat.

The concept of getting 5 that get 5 was rejected by me about 45 years ago and here I am regurgitating it. Maybe there is a reason. Could I influence 5 that voted for Obama to rethink their politics? Could I influence 5 to get involved throwing out Republicans that aren't doing their job, that aren't upholding our Constitution? Could I get those 5 to influence 5? The answer is I could try.

I had a friend, Don that pitched me on getting 5 about 45 years ago. He was what I called a Multi Level Junkie. He said that if I could get 5 that could get 5 and I could receive an over ride or commission I could receive income from 25 + 5 peoples purchases or 30 people.

Then, if I could help those 5 get 5 it jumps to over 125, and another layer of 5 leads to 625. Do you get the drift? My answer to my friend was that if you go another 6 or 7 levels of getting 5 you ate up the entire United States and that on every level the bottom 5's were losers as they didn't have anyone to over ride.

So my friend Don left me alone, and on he went to fame and fortune. I looked him up on Google a few years ago: he has sold millions of books and travels the world giving lectures to Multi Level Marketing Junkies.

But here there are no losers, if we protect our Constitution.

Also, I am positive that Don, didn't get 5 that got 5 for umpteen levels. Logic supports that fact. But apparently he got enough and that my friends is all we need, enough.

We need enough people to vote to protect our Constitution, and to insist our elected representatives do just that or we will vote them out, that's what we need. Is it 5 that will get 5?  Perhaps.

And this is my goal. To reach out to enough people via this blog that I can persuade 5 to persuade 5, or something like 5. I invite you to do one of four things:  1- Do what I am doing, just go for 5 you can influence. Writing a blog is really quite simple. I've taught hundreds to do it. 2- Send them to my blog and talk about what I post with them. Seek to be persuasive not combative. 3- Send them to  a resource you find here. 4- Write something and email it to me. If it is in line with the message I am making I will post it with you as the contributor. You could then send people to read your persuasive opinion.

However you do it, I invite you to help me be like Don, but for our Republics sake, and for its fragile Constitutions sake. It is the source of our Freedom.

Why This Blog?

Am I An Observer Or Is There Something I Can Do?

Why This Blog? Because I have spent the last month in shock, wondering how the people of this Country could re-elect Barack Obama. I asked myself over and over don't they see what he is doing to the Constitution? Don't they see what is happening to our Country? Is it over for us?

After a couple of weeks went by I decided to get a shot of adrenalin and listen to The Mark Levin Radio Show. Two things stood out: 1- He's fighting to the end to save our Republic. 2- He is encouraging each of us to do the same.

Oh sure I thought what can I do. I am just me, not famous, not rich, how influential can I be?

I thought about a fellow that I was introduced to who was passionate about Ron Paul. He added me to his email list and I was inundated  with emails that frankly upset me. How could he vote for Ron Paul? Voting for Ron Paul in essence was a vote for Obama. What was he going to do now? I sent him an email: "Brandon, seeing how Boehner is now crushing the conservatives in the House, what are you going to do with your time going forward?" (You see, his emails have been severely reduced since the election).

His answer: "He (Boehner) is a globalist. No different than Clinton or Bush or Obama. None of them follow the constitution they are all big government Marxists. It doesn't matter at this point we are toast. Get your food and provisions etc., get it fast, and get a lot too. And smile as the country burns."

This was not what I expected. I wasn't satisfied. Wasn't there something 1 person like me could do or at least try and do?

Then it hit me, there just might be. I am an experienced blog writer and a concept once pitched to me 45 years ago came to mind. The concept: Get 5 that get 5. I will explain that in my next post. It's the key as I see it.

Writing A Blog: Help Save Our Republic. My guess is that in my real estate and mortgage career plus my blog on genealogy has caused me to publish over 3000 articles on line. I doesn't take me long to roll one out. It seems my mind devours a topic and when I sit down at a computer, out it comes. Even though I am serving as a full time Genealogy and Family History Missionary at Church Headquarters, I can do this.

Now I am under no allusion that I will accomplish much, but at least I am doing to do something.

They nations media has the most powerful tools to influence. And how are they doing? They are digging a grave for our freedom. Shameful!

What drives these people? You would think with their background they would treasure America. Instead, they push every liberal idea they can. Are they moral? I have my opinion. Public enemy number 3 are the leaders of NBC, CBS, and ABC. Steve Burke, Leslie Moones with majority owner Sumner Redstone (formerly Rothstein), and ABC's Ann Sweeney.

Traitors I call them. They overlook every issue of importance if it isn't good for Obama or the Liberal agenda. They aren't reporting now, they are part of the Democrat party. Journalism - Pooh.

Reading their resume's on Wikipedia makes my skin crawl. No wonder most of what they produce is filth.
