| Just Saying Goodbye |
My wife, Kathleen, and I are among about 500 serving full time missions supporting the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Family History/Genealogy staff. It's an amazing commitment the Church has made to support people who are interested in researching their ancestors. I train new missionaries on how to do genealogy research and how to use the research tools the church provides for free. Kathleen trains local Family History center directors. Their are about 4000 English Speaking centers (now called FamilySearch Centers.
Since we are all senior citizens we enjoyed this email we were recently sent:
Just Saying Goodbye,
To help save the economy, the Government will make an announcement next month that the Immigration Department will start deporting seniors (instead of illegal's) in order to lower Social Security and Medicare costs.
Older people are easier to catch and will not remember how to get back home.
I started to cry when I thought of you guys.
Then it dawned on me... oh, crap....I'll see you on the bus!
