Twitter is an interesting universe. I have played in it for quite a while. I have Tweeted an amazing to me 17,587 times. I announced last night I was changing my approach.
What I have done is followed a limited (until now) 27 people as an average. They all believe as I do, politically. A few times I searched into a group that were pro Obama and picked a fight.
Currently I have 1153 followers. Probably again mostly staunch Republicans.
More conversations have been mostly hype, like they say standing around a water cooler and chattering.
I've learned a lot from Twitter, not provided much.
Here is the new approach. I'm going to get a couple more posts up, add a few more features then start friending people I would like to persuade. I hope I communicate more value to those that follow me, even influence them to do more.
We have an election in two years. How sweet it would be to do better than 2010. Dreaming? Perhaps. But that won't stop me from trying. How about you.
Wow, I just added about 40 to follow. Some are hard core Liberals.
